Ninjeri Pandit
General Partner, Special Projects, Venture+
Nin is leading Phoenix Court’s special projects team, bringing over two decades of public sector and policy experience.
Nin most recently spent four years at Downing Street across senior roles including Principal Private Secretary, Director General of Delivery, and Director of the Policy Unit, serving four different Prime Ministers since 2021. After initially joining to lead Number 10’s Delivery Unit for the COVID vaccine rollout, she also spearheaded initiatives on AI security, AI sovereignty, and public service recovery and reform.
Prior to that, she spent over a decade working at NHS England, in roles that included Chief of Staff and Lead Policy Advisor to NHS England’s Chief Executive. She worked closely on the NHS Long Term Plan (with emphasis on innovation, mental health, and cancer treatment) as well as their COVID response.
This builds on her experience leading digital services locally and nationally in the NHS, commissioning the launch of the largest health website in Europe and leading development of the first electronic personal health record in UK mental health services. In a previous role with the Mayor of London, she led the information transparency workstream.
Nin is originally from Canada, where she studied her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology and French at the University of British Columbia, before coming to the UK to study a Master’s in Health, Community, and Development at LSE. In her spare time, she balances cooking, yoga, tending her allotment, and travel, all while trying to keep up with her socially active daughter.
