Rajee looks after the various financial aspects of our investment vehicles, management entities and our foundation.
With a BSc in Biomedical Science from King’s College London, Rajee’s career began within Grant Thornton’s Financial Services Group, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He provided a variety of assurance services to asset management firms across the UK and Europe, which included exposure to venture capital.
Phoenix Court’s open-door policy facilitates all sorts of connections and conversations between founders, investors, advisors and a variety of other stakeholders in our ecosystem. That’s truly unique in the VC world.
He previously worked at Octopus Ventures as a fund accountant, where he took on responsibility for the finances of the institutional investor vehicles. His experience includes day-to-day management of the venture capital fund cycle, including numerous fund launches. He was also involved in valuation committee peer reviews, and assessing the viability of new strategies.
Away from work, Rajee is Trustee at Downright Excellent, a non-profit working to maximise the potential of children with Down Syndrome.
