Ash has a keen focus on Enterprise AI and also spends time in Frontier Tech.
Prior to joining the team, Ash raised and launched $100m P2 Ventures, built a global team, and backed five unicorns at early stages. Her earlier career spans founding and bootstrapping a prop-trading firm focused on LSTM/NLP-based strategies, advising the Prime Minister’s Office in India on frontier tech investments and policy, and trading at Citi across commodities, FX, fixed income, and credit. She went from pattern recognition to anomaly detection, and likes her founders like she likes her code: clean, opinionated and capable of breaking things - productively.
She actively advises startups from Harvard, Cambridge, Techstars, and AWS, and lectures on entrepreneurship at London Business School and IIM Ahmedabad. She studied mathematics and economics at Lady Shri Ram College in India - alma mater of the IMF Chief Economist, multiple Harvard professors, and Aung San Suu Kyi, among others. She also served as one of the youngest board members of their alumni association.
Her mission is to work with the most ambitious, contrarian, humble, and diverse founders - those who make her feel “dumb but educated” in the very first meeting, ideas that sound crazy today but seem obvious tomorrow. She loves bold founders who see technology as a means to an end: to transform legacy industries and increase trust, security, transparency, and efficiency across the world.
Working with brilliant and, more importantly, authentic founders (I am way too Gen Z!) has been an incredible learning experience across industries and geographies. I am a firm believer in strong opinions, weakly held - a lifetime of continued learning and belief in the founders I have backed, but striving to be patient, curious, and analytical to learn more about the world. Trust is built with consistency but returns are built with chaos and conviction, which is the key to building successful companies.

Ash is either trekking or tech-ing, is a big foodie, an advanced yoga practitioner, loves sitcoms, and is improving her skiing.
