Julian joined in 2018 to help launch Latitude, and today works with founders from seed stage through to IPO.
Julian invests across fintech and payments (Wise (LSE: WISE.L), Rapyd, Tide, Melio, Raisin, Monzo, Wagestream, Two), enterprise software (Flow (acq. by Global-e), Tessian (acq. by Proofpoint), Justworks, Travelperk, Goodlord, Gordian Software, Unaric) and beyond (Cloudwall (acq. by Talos), Hailo, Beauty Pie, Bloom & Wild).
The path from ideation to IPO and beyond is unpredictable, nonlinear - we are extremely comfortable with this uncertainty. We’re inspired by founders who are driven by a restlessness and tenacity that compels people to follow them on this journey.
Julian previously worked at JPMorgan in San Francisco, supporting startups and scale-ups at formative moments, including IPO and M&A. He worked closely with companies as they created categories, including the likes of Peloton, Deliveroo and Farfetch. Julian later moved back to London to lead Internet and Digital Media for JPMorgan in Europe.
Julian’s first job was as a ‘coder’ in a dotcom startup back in 2000, the output from which can still be found in the outer reaches of the internet.
Away from work, Julian loves sports, playing the violin and being surrounded by optimists.
